To better protect your privacy we explain here our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
We are the National Consumer Council. Our sister organisations are the Scottish Consumer Council (www.scotconsumer.org.uk) and the Welsh Consumer Council (www.wales-consumer.org.uk).
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on the National Consumer Council website.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information from web logs to understand the utilisation of the website and to improve the design.
We may share information we collect with the other consumer councils. We do not share collected information with other third parties.
At present, we do not use cookies. A 'cookie' is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which is stored on the user's computer. This effectively enables the browser to remember some specific information. This can be used to better interpret web logs and to provide additional and improved functionality on the site.
We may introduce cookies at a later date and our policy will be revised at that time.
